Thank you for supporting Mellon Patch. We take great care in preparing and packaging every order from our homestead to your home.

Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days unless otherwise stated on the product listing.

Please note:

  • Handmade and small-batch products may require additional preparation time.
  • Seasonal farm demands, weather, holidays, and livestock care may occasionally affect processing times.

Customers will receive shipping confirmation once an order has been prepared and shipped.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package size and weight
  • Shipping destination
  • Carrier rates

Additional charges may apply for oversized or specialty items.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available for select products. If pickup is offered, instructions and scheduling details will be provided after purchase.

Please arrange pickup within a reasonable timeframe after notification.

Honey, Soaps & Personal Care Products

We carefully package all honey, soaps, lip balms, scrubs, hand creams, and other homestead products to help prevent damage during transit.

However, Mellon Patch is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by carriers
  • Melted products due to extreme temperatures
  • Minor cosmetic damage occurring during shipment

Livestock & Poultry

Live animals may require special arrangements and are subject to seasonal availability and local regulations.

Customers purchasing poultry or livestock are responsible for:

  • Confirming local bylaws and regulations
  • Providing proper transportation and care
  • Being available for scheduled pickup or delivery arrangements

Deposits placed on livestock are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Shipping Delays

Once a package leaves our care, shipping times are controlled by the carrier. Weather conditions, holidays, rural routes, and other circumstances may cause delays beyond our control.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout.

Mellon Patch is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages due to incorrect addresses
  • Additional shipping charges caused by returned packages
  • Delays resulting from inaccurate customer information

Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the packaging and damaged items

We will review each situation individually and work toward a fair resolution.

Lost Packages

If tracking shows a package as delivered, customers must contact the shipping carrier directly for assistance.

Mellon Patch is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.
